'Tis the season to make the best of wintry-cold days, and there are plenty of West Island festivities to choose from! Here's a comprehensive list by municipality or borough.

Pierrefonds-Roxboro Winter Fun

Parc d'À-Ma-Baie (4770 Rue Pierre-Lauzon)

  • Zumba classes with the YMCA  

  • Snowman and snow-castle building

*Equipment, including skates, skating tools, snowshoes, and fat bikes, are free on-site!

Bring your reusable mugs and enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate. The goal is to reduce the use of single-use or recyclable cups.

Northview Park (111 Av. Viking)

The winter festivities include 

  • inflatable games, 

  • a mobile farm, 

  • family skating, 

  • a craft workshop, and more! 

  • Bring your reusable cup, as hot chocolate will be offered on-site, and taffy on snow will be sold. 

  • A BBQ is organized by the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (WIAIH) to sponsor its activities.

Saint-Lazare Winter Caravan

Saturday, January 27, from 11 am to 4 pm.

Parc Bédard (1591, avenue Bédard)

  • Sledge hockey demonstration 

  • Carriage rides through town

  • Hot chocolate, coffee (free of charge)

  • Folk music with the Association Québécoise des Loisirs Folklorique Sud-Ouest

  • Winter camp demonstration by the Saint-Lazare Scouts and the Girl Guides of Canada
