West Island Community Shares and National Bank of Canada Partner to Provide Bikes for Youths in Need

This spring, West Island Community Shares and the National Bank of Canada have collaborated on an initiative to supply new bikes, helmets, and locks to vulnerable youths in the West Island area. Recognizing the importance of bikes for teens, the campaign aims to provide transportation, independence, and access to activities for those who may not have the means otherwise.

The youths targeted by this campaign often come from low-income families, including single-parent households and newly arrived immigrants, for whom purchasing a new bike is financially challenging. With the demand for bikes surpassing expectations, the organizations are appealing to donors to help extend the reach of this initiative.

The "Bikes for Youth Campaign" seeks to make a tangible difference in the lives of teens by offering them the freedom to explore, thrive, and socialize with friends. Donations can be made online securely or by sending a cheque to West Island Community Shares.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help provide opportunities for youths in need. Join the cause and support our youths by giving generously to the "Bikes for Youth Campaign". #BikesForYouth #SupportOurYouths 🚲🌟
