LIPTON-FEMALE-HUSKY X - 1 1/2 YEARS OLD
Lipton gave birth to four pups here at Animatch, and now, all five are ready to go to their forever homes. She is affectionate and enjoys human companionship. She has had no training, so whoever adopts her will be starting from scratch. Walking on leash, car rides, and toilet training are all new to her. Lipton gets along with other dogs but not with cats. Being young and a Northern girl, she requires an active family that will take her on long walks, hikes, and any other outdoor activity that they care to try.Â
REBEL-MALE-SAMOYED, GOLDEN RETRIEVER X - 1 1/2 YEARS OLD
Rebel was well-named as he arrived a typical sassy teenager who didn't enjoy being told what to do. We saw that he needed some specialized training from the wonderful people at École de Formation des Intervenants Canins du Québec (FIC). They have worked with him and feel that he is now ready to go to his forever home. This doesn't mean that his training is over. Rebel needs an experienced guardian who will continue to reinforce his training and see that he exercises his mind and body every day. Because of resource guarding, he should be the only dog in the home. He can play with other dogs with proper introduction. Cats are out of the question.Â
SPRAGUE-MALE-NORTHERN MIX- 2 MONTHS OLD (DOB FEB 28)
Sprague is one of Lipton's pups and he's as anxious as his Mom to find his forever home. He needs what every pup needs: patience, consistency, training, exercise, playtime, and most of all, commitment for the next ten to fifteen years. Because of his age, he shouldn't be alone for more than a couple of hours at a time.Â
NOTE: Sprague has grown since the photo shoot.Â
WINNIE AND POOH -MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.
Winnie is the one with the tousled hair.
WINNIE-FEMALE-SHIH TZU- 2 YEARS OLD
POOH-MALE-SHIH TZU- 2 YEARS OLD
Their history is foggy, but it's possible that they suffered neglect rather than abuse. They were fearful and unsure of themselves on arrival, but are gaining confidence with a great Foster Mom. Everything is new to them: walks, toys, socialization, and toilet training. They are good with other dogs and would thrive with a stable canine in the home. Winnie and Pooh need an experienced, patient guardian who will guide them and provide the necessities for them to lead lives filled with fun and joy.Â
