Gisèle Lévesque, 89, is the first Quebecer to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

She was vaccinated at 11:25 am this morning at the CHSLD Saint-Antoine in Quebec.

The CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale, which supervises the CHSLD Saint-Antoine vaccination, took possession of its first doses of the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech this morning around 9 a.m.

The three boxes were delivered by UPS under police escort.

The residents of the CHSLD Saint-Antoine and the staff of the long-term care facility are among the first in Quebec to be immune to COVID.
