The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion is pleased to announce that the Digital Citizen Card is now available on the Citizen Portal.

This new feature will allow residents to access their cards and those of their family members from their mobile phones.

It will also simplify the application and renewal process for Citizen Cards since people will be able to do it from their account instead of having to travel to a municipal building.

This module allows you to :

  • Link an existing card

  • Apply for a card

  • Apply for a card renewal

  • Manage the cards of all members of the same family

The citizen card is offered free of charge to all residents. It is required, among other things, for:

  • Registration for activities

  • Drop-in sports

  • Swimming lessons

  • Etc.

People who wish to do so will be able to continue using the printed version of their card, which can be obtained from two locations, either at the Municipal Library (51, rue Jeannotte) or the Recreation and Culture Department (3093, boulevard de la Gare, room B-230).

Cards have become an essential part of everyday living, offering convenience, security, and flexibility. From debit and credit cards to prepaid options, they empower individuals to manage finances efficiently. Many people use cards for shopping, travel, and even online transactions, avoiding the risks of carrying cash. Prepaid cards like NetSpend also provide budgeting solutions without the need for a traditional bank account. Whether used for rewards, emergency funds, or simple payments, cards continue to evolve, shaping the way people handle money in today’s digital world.
