Pointe-Claire Days promise an eventful week of summer activities

From August 10 to 14, the City of Pointe-Claire will host its first edition of Pointe-Claire Days in various city parks and facilities.

On the way to becoming an annual summer event, the City describes this new event as "an opportunity for everyone to discover the variety of activities offered by the City, the diversity of facilities on the territory, and the cultural richness of the community."

Five days of festivities

On the agenda for these festivities, which will take place over several days, are bike tours of public art, water activities on the lake, dance and craft workshops, and other recreational activities intended to cater to all demographics.

Wednesday, August 10:


What? A concert by Rafael Y Su Energia Dominicana: Enamorarse En La Playa Merengue, bachata, salsa, bomba, reggaeton, bolero, balada and more

When? 7:30 p.m.

Where? Stewart Park


Thursday, August 11:


What? Valois Family Fair Day; a D.J., games, and a fire and laser show will be on-site, as well as a reading corner with arts and crafts (age five and -), a collective artwork activity and food stands.

When? 5 to 9 p.m.

Where? Valois Park

Friday, August 12:


What? Outdoor Movie Night for Teens; Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (in English (with French subtitles)). There will be games before the movie and free popcorn, just remember to bring a chair or a blanket.

When? 7:30 p.m.


Saturday, August 13:


What? International Food Fest; world cuisine, music, and children's activities.

When? 2 to 7 p.m.


Sunday, August 14:


What? Family Picnic; bring your picnic, activities for kids.

When? 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.


What? Open paddle canoe polo, paddle boards, and dragon boats.

When? 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.


What? Free swim for the whole family.

When? 12 to 5 p.m.

Where? Pointe-Claire outdoor pools
