UPDATE: CANCELLATION Due to the smog warnings in effect and the high risk of thunderstorms, it is with great disappointment that the Arrondissement de Pierrefonds-Roxboro Borough have to cancel the Canada Day festivities.
The decision was taken jointly by the Borough and their partners, following consultations with the local community organisations taking part in the parade, who preferred not to risk the health of their staff and volunteers.
Please note that the planned fireworks and pop-up shows will be postponed to a later date, as part of their upcoming activities. Further information will be provided shortly.

There is no better way to celebrate summer, culture, and community than by partaking in Pierrefonds-Roxboro's Canada Day festivities. It is THE party of the summer that will entertain all ages and interests. A journey through traditions
The celebrations will honor the Borough's traditions and the communities that have enriched them. Local businesses, markets, and organizations will also be honored as the community rallies to celebrate its cultures and achievements.

a festive and interactive parade,
impressive floats,
and a major show that will get you moving!
You'll also be treated to a spectacular fireworks show to cap off the extravagant day!

Canada Day Parade
On July 1, the patriotic parade will make its way around the Borough, following the route outlined in the map below.
At 10 am, the floats will depart from Altitude School (5060 boul. des Sources), and around 12:30 pm, they will complete their run at Pierrefonds-Roxboro Borough Hall (13665 boul. de Pierrefonds)*Temporary street closures can be found below.
Pop-up shows (Free)
Three parks around the Borough will host unique performances by Ze Radcliffe Fanfare, a group of eleven musicians who perform folk music from Greece, Serbia, Canada, Romania, Chile, Finland, and Bulgaria. Watch this video of Ze Radcliffe Fanfare

Antique Car Show
Classic and antique car enthusiasts will enjoy the display of vehicles by the West Island Antique & Muscle Car Club, on July 1, from 1 pm to 3 pm., in the Pierrefonds Community High School (PCHS) parking lot (13800 Pierrefonds Boulevard, corner of René-Émard Street).
Evening programming on July 1
An enthralling lineup on the Main Stage will present two free shows, and of course, a Canada Day celebration would only be complete with a fireworks display.
6 pm: Opening of the site
7 to 7:50 pm: Family show, Kattam et ses tams-tams
8 to 10 pm: Marco Calliari and friends' show
10 to 10:15 pm: Fireworks **Their teams are keeping watch of the meteorological situation and air quality to ensure the safety of citizens and meet civil security requirements. If these fireworks have to be canceled, the borough will communicate it via its social media accounts. The decision will be made closer to the time of the event.**
