Netflix's Single All The Way is filming in Pointe-Claire this month

West Island movie madness continues this Spring with Netflix's latest holiday-themed romantic comedy set for the 2021 holiday season. One scene is shooting on the Beaconsfield Golf Course in Pointe-Claire during April.

Movies have been filming in Montreal through all of the COVID lockdowns. Bubbles are tight but allow local actors to return to their respective bubbles after a daily shoot.

The flick will be directed by Michael Mayer, the Tony Award-winning director of the Broadway sensation "Spring Awakening."

Michael Urie, Philemon Chambers and Luke MacFarlane will serve as leads, with supporting turns from Barry Bostwick ("The Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Spin City"), Jennifer Robertson ("Schitt's Creek," "Ginny & Georgia"), Jennifer Coolidge ("Legally Blonde," "Promising Young Woman") and Kathy Najimy ("Veep," "Younger").

Desperate to avoid his family's judgment about his perpetual single status, Peter (Urie) convinces his best friend Nick (Chambers) to join him for the holidays and pretend that they're now in a relationship. But when Peter's mother sets him up on a blind date with her handsome trainer James (MacFarlane), the plan goes awry.
