Major RCMP Operation Targets Ketamine Trafficking in Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Dorval

On Thursday morning, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) carried out a significant operation against ketamine trafficking in Quebec and Ontario. More than 110 officers were involved in the operation, which included searches at eight locations, prominently in Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Dorval.

In Dollard-des-Ormeaux, residents were startled to see heavily armed police executing a search warrant on Tecumseh Street. Dorval also saw significant police activity as part of this coordinated effort. The operation led to the arrest of seven individuals, who were later released after questioning, with a promise to appear in court at a later date.

This extensive investigation began in February, following information received from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The RCMP’s efforts underscore the ongoing fight against the illegal trafficking of controlled substances in our communities.
