The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore Montreal is in the middle of its Holiday Nuts & Cakes Campaign which benefits countless children throughout the year.

The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore Montreal has been providing an important service since 1958. They proudly contribute 100% of your donations back into the community for the benefit primarily of children and to help others in need.

"But it’s not about us, it’s about the kids, about you, and the people you touch with your donations and participation!"

With donations from the community last year, over $70,000 went to support programs for people living with intellectual handicaps, at-risk youth, children coping with a loss, and those with food and housing challenges. West Islanders also helped provide for the development of confidence and life skills, educational bursaries to students pursuing higher education, and growth through the performing arts.

October marked the beginning of a new year in Kiwanis with many funding requests on the table. Thus, the response to those needs was met with the highly anticipated Holiday Nuts & Cakes Sale.

"Our goal over the next several weeks is to generate $25.000 and provide the feeling of 'Holiday Cheer throughout the year' to countless people in need."

Yes, the campaign lasts just a few weeks, but West Islander's support lasts throughout the year. Think of your staff, clients, family, friends, and especially those isolated who will be uplifted by a thoughtful gesture.

Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life.”
