Montreal, August 13, 2025 – The Miriam Foundation gathered more than 160 participants on August 11 at Golf Saint Raphaël, in Île-Bizard, for the 58th edition of its annual golf tournament. Under the theme "Swing for the Cause!", the event raised over $350,000 to support children, teens, and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities (ID), at all stages of life.
"Thanks to this tournament, we can continue to provide access to life-changing services to thousands of individuals in need. Every donation opens a door: for a child learning to communicate, a teenager discovering their talents, or an adult gaining autonomy. The solidarity of our community is both inspiring and essential to building a more inclusive future. A huge thank you to our partners, participants, and volunteers who make this mission possible," said Warren Greenstone, President and CEO of the Miriam Foundation.
The Miriam Foundation’s annual golf tournament—one of the oldest charitable golf events in Canada—is a vital source of funding for the organization. For over 50 years, the Foundation has raised more than $50 million, enabling it to provide subsidized services to over8,000 individuals withASD and ID, as well as to their families and loved ones and the professionals who support them.
These funds support a wide range of specialized services, including critical early childhood intervention, clinical and therapeutic programs, as well as educational and recreational activities. These services guide individuals through each stage of life, offering them the tools they need to grow and thrive.

The success of the 2025 tournament was in large part thanks to the leadership of Chairman Dary Laflamme, with the support of co-chairs Guy Carbonneau, Dino Farrese, Nick Meti, and Daniel Ahmarani. The Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to these committee members, its dedicated team and volunteers, and its longtime partners, including National Bank, Fetter Financial Corporation, ARC Group Benefits Inc., Electricité Tri-Tech, the Lenny Sanders Family Foundation, Baker Tilly Montreal, De Grandpré Chait, Olymbec, Emballages Mercato, and Boscus, to name just a few of our funders whose ongoing support makes this event possible year after year. A special thanks goes also to our partner, the Mirella and Lino Saputo Foundation, for their support.
