Driver crashes through fences, and then into a Pierrefonds residence

A 29-year-old driver was arrested for impaired driving after colliding through two fences in a park and ending up crashing against a house in the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro, early on Friday morning.

The accident occurred around 3:40 a.m. on Pierrefonds Boulevard, at the corner of Sources Boulevard, said Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

No one was injured, but the vehicle escaped with major damage.


The motorist was taken to a detention center to provide a breath sample.
