Dorval Arena to re-open with a Montreal Canadiens Alumni game

This Saturday, August 27th, the Dorval Arena will officially re-open with a ceremony at 1 p.m., with Dorval Mayor Marc Doret, and a hockey game involving the Montreal Canadiens Alumni will be played at 2 p.m.


See in action former Habs players, such as Richard Sévigny, Stéphane

Richer, Stéphane Quintal, Pierre Dagenais, Francis Bouillon, Oleg Petrov, Mathieu

Dandenault, and Gilbert Delorme, as well as Chris Nilan as the coach.

It has been more than 55 years since the Dorval Arena first opened. Over the past year, it

has undergone major renovations: an updated entrance, expanded locker rooms, and a

renovated pro-shop and snack bar, not to mention the highlight of the place: a reception

room located on the second floor that can welcome up to 104 people, with a view of the ice and a terrace.


Ticket purchase General admission $15 (Free for children under the age of 12, at the door only, if seats are still available)

It is possible to purchase tickets at the following locations, according to their respective opening hours:

VIP tickets

  • $100 → Includes a better seat for the hockey game and a buffet alongside the Montreal Canadiens Alumni after the game.

  • $200 → Become the coach of the team facing the Montreal Canadiens Alumni. This includes a buffet alongside the Canadiens Alumni after the game (only one VIP ticket remaining).

  • $500 → Become the coach of the Montreal Canadiens Alumni (alongside Chris Nilan). This includes a buffet alongside the Canadiens Alumni after the game - SOLD OUT

  • $500 → Play on the same team as the Montreal Canadiens Alumni. This includes your own official Habs jersey with your name on it and a buffet alongside the Canadiens Alumni after the game (only one VIP ticket remaining).

It possible to purchase VIP tickets at City Hall (60 Martin Avenue). Quantities are limited.
