🚨 Early Morning Stabbing in Pierrefonds-Roxboro

A 51-year-old man was hospitalized after a stabbing early Thursday morning in a residential area near Pierrefonds Boulevard, according to Montreal police (SPVM).

Emergency crews responded shortly after 5 a.m., where the man was found with at least one stab wound. He was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police quickly secured the scene, with investigators and forensic teams gathering evidence. No arrests have been made, and no suspect description has been released at this time. Authorities say the injuries appear to be self-inflicted and the incident is being treated as isolated.

A 41-year-old woman involved in the altercation was also taken to hospital with serious injuries and is now in stable condition.

Residents on Athéna Street reported a heavy police presence and crime scene tape early in the morning.
