Tomorrow, March 10th at 7:00 pm, residents of the West Island, alongside friends and family of Lucas Gaudet will march in a candlelight vigil commemorating his life and raising awareness of teen violence.

The event comes exactly one month after the 16-year-old tragically lost his life after succumbing to injuries in the hospital after an altercation near St-Thomas High School turned violent.

The vigil will begin promptly at 7:00 pm at John Rennie High School where Gaudet was a student and will make its way to St-Thomas High School near where the tragic event occurred.

Those wishing to participate should come prepared with their own flashlight or another battery-operated light source. In honor of Gaudet, who was passionate about hockey, participants are invited to come in their favorite jerseys or sporting his favorite color which was blue.
