It seems like the tooth fairy upgraded over the years to more money and better gifts for leaving a tooth under the pillow. From $20 to bitcoin, parents are unsure what this generation of kids wants from the tooth fairy.
It seems like the traditional toonie for a tooth isn't the normal price anymore. The most common prize for losing a tooth in 2021 according to parents is $5-10 for the first tooth and then $1-2 for the rest. Others do $5 for smaller teeth and then $10 for molars. Some children have the luxury of getting a new toy once they loose a tooth but it seems like the majority receive a few dollars.
