The West Island's summer concert season is going strong!

Here are outdoor summer concerts near you to make the most of the season.

Baie-D'Urfé

WHAT? Baie-D'Urfé's outdoor concert series is back for July and August!

WHEN? Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Sundays at 2 p.m.

WHERE? Rain or shine, the concerts will take place at the music pavilion in Fritz Park.


Beaconsfield:

WHAT? HAPPY HOUR BY THE WATER: 80S NIGHT. These themed, festive evenings in July will have music, food trucks, a mobile bar, and talented entertainers. The events are free, and don't forget your lawn chair!

Dorval

  • Dorval's summer concert series are free outdoor performances held on Mondays, until August 7th at 7:30 p.m., at Pine Beach Park. In the event of poor weather or extreme heat, performances will be held at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre. Catch the Dorval-based Lakeshore Concert Band on Monday, August 7th at 7:30!

Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève

WHAT? Bring your chair and come enjoy the free shows offered in the borough's parks in collaboration with Salle Pauline-Julien. In the event of heavy rain, performances will be cancelled.

WHEN? On Wednesday, July 12th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Damoizeaux will be performing.

WHERE? Parc Jacques-Cardinal, Boulevard Gouin Ouest, Montréal H9H 2X3.


Kirkland

WHAT? Various artists will be performing in different Kirkland parks throughout the summer. In case of bad weather, the concerts will be cancelled.

  • July 26 - 7 p.m. at Holleuffer Park - Josh Adams (Guitar and singing)

  • August 2 - 7 p.m. at Bénévoles Park - Glenn Miller and Keith Ford (Percussion, guitar and singing)

  • August 16 - 7 p.m. at Lantier House - Ambiance Prestige (Saxophone duo and jazz piano)

  • August 23 - 7 p.m. at Canvin Park - Amazing Todsky (Magic show)

Arts & Music in the Park

WHAT? The Kirkland Concert Band will provide a soundtrack to accompany artworks by the Kirkland Artists' Association members for an evening of live music and art.

Pointe-Claire outdoor concerts

WHAT? There is extensive concert programming around parks in Pointe-Claire this summer.

Pierrefonds-Roxboro

  • Every Wednesday until August 16th at the Pierrefonds Library is a "Mercredi Jazzé." The series will take place from 7:30 until 8:30. You must reserve your seats to attend Mercredis jazzés. To get your tickets, call 514 702-1812.

Saint-Lazare

WHAT? The March Blues Project, Shinebox, and Sirens of Rock are amongst some of the groups performing.

WHEN? Saint-Lazare's outdoor shows are every Thursday from July 6th to August 10th, starting at 7:30 p.m.

WHERE? Espace des Muses 1530, rue Poirier Saint-Lazare. In case of rain, the show will be held at the Saint-Lazare Community Centre.


Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

WHAT? The "Les rythmes d'été" concert series will showcase a variety of artists and genres.

WHEN? Saturdays at 12:30 p.m., starting July 8th.

  • July 25: Véronique Labbé, Honky Tonk Bar

  • Martin Giroux's Hommage à Richard Desjardins, scheduled in May as part of MOSA, la fête des mots, but cancelled due to spring flooding, will be presented on August 22nd, at Parc de la Maison-Valois.

  • On August 5, Johanne Blouin will present her show De Félix à aujourd'hui at 1 p.m. as part of Célébrons Félix, an annual celebration of the birthday of this great man of Quebec culture. This event is organized in collaboration with Les Amis de Félix Leclerc à Vaudreuil.

People are invited to bring their own chairs. In case of inclement weather, call 450 424-8502 to make sure the event is still on.
