The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion allocates nearly $900,000 to its organizations

On Thursday, March 14th, the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion brought together representatives from community, cultural, sports, and leisure organizations operating within its territory to thank them for the essential role they play in the community. Focused on networking, this meeting also provided an opportunity to grant them subsidies totaling almost $900,000 to support their various activities.

About 130 volunteers from 50 organizations participated in the event, hosted by Étienne Dano. Mayor Guy Pilon highlighted the contribution of these organizations to the quality of life of the population.

"If Vaudreuil-Dorion is such a dynamic city, it is largely thanks to the significant and highly diversified offerings of our numerous organizations. As a city, we provide the necessary infrastructure, but it is our volunteers who animate them with their sports, cultural, and community activities for our entire population, across all generations. Thank you for helping to make Vaudreuil-Dorion a great place to live."

The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion provides financial assistance to its organizations every year, in addition to supporting them by offering logistical assistance for the organization of their events and providing them with meeting rooms or storage space.
