The Montreal Canadiens keep their playoff hopes alive with a 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Nick Suzuki was the overtime hero after he joined teammate Cole Caulfield on a 2-0 rush.

The Habs held a comfortable 3-0 lead for more than half the game until the Leafs managed to score three unanswered goals. Toronto’s Jake Muzzin scored two goals in the third period to send the game to OT.

With the series on the line, Cole Caulfield took advantage of a turnover by former Hab Alex Galchenyuk. After a few give and go passes with Suzuki, the puck was in the net.

This marks the first time that the Habs have scored over two goals in the series, and hope to keep this momentum for game 6 on Saturday. The Leafs can take the series, or the Habs can force a game 7. Toronto currently leads the series 3-2.
