Summer concert list for West Islanders - Music is in the air

Here is more information on these summer concerts by city:


1. Baie-D’Urfé:

The outdoor summer concerts will be held at the Fritz Park Music Pavillion, at 20 477 Lakeshore Road on Thursdays in July and the first week of august at 7:30 p.m, then Sundays in the rest of August, at 2 p.m.

  • July 7: Black Cadillacs

  • July 14: Swing Tonique

  • July 21: The Big Neon

  • July 28: Ariana Nasr & Curtis Thorpe

  • August 4 (Thursday): Steel Rail

  • August 14: Name of the band to be confirmed

  • August 21: Derek Falls Band

2. Beaconsfield

The city of Beaconsfield has instituted a new festive format for its three summer concerts in Centennial Park (288, boulevard Beaconsfield, Beaconsfield, QC H9W 4A4, Canada). The concerts are on the following Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m.

  1. July 21: Fiesta Latina with Yordon & the Cuban Martinez Show

  2. August 4: Rockabilly Night with Mighty Nighters

  3. August 18: Far West Island with Max Tremblay country band

Entertainers, dancing, and food trucks can be found at the events in addition to music.

3. Dollard-des-Ormeaux


On Dollard-des-Ormeaux Cultural Fridays, music and shows are offered at 7 p.m. for free in the garden of the DDO library. Concerts will be held in the Civic Banquet Hall in case of poor weather.

  • August 19: Denis Ducharme - An evening of the music of James Taylor

The Blues Festival will also be hosted at the DDO Park on Saturday, July 9, from 3 until 11 p.m.


4. Dorval

The city of Dorval planned 4 free summer outdoor concerts this year at Pine Beach Park (Chemin du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore, near Pine Beach Boulevard) on Mondays at 7:30 p.m.

  1. July 4: Baby Boomer’s Band

  2. July 11: The Blue Mondays Jazz Orchestra

  3. July 18: Sam Tucker

  4. July 25: Skye Consort & Emma Björling

Performances will be moved indoors to the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Center in case of rain or poor weather.


5. Kirkland

Outdoor concerts featuring the Kirkland Concert Band are scheduled for the following Wednesday nights:

  1. July 6 at 7 pm at Harris Park

  2. July 20 at 7:30 pm at Canvin Park

  3. August 3 at 7 pm at Maison Lantier

6. Pierrefonds - Roxboro

The city of Pierrefonds-Roxboro is offering a grand variety of concerts and musical performances at various spots on multiple dates. The following classification is in chronological order by location.

  • Wednesday, July 20, from 7 to 8:15 p.m.: Ramon Chicharron

Parc Grier (17760 Rue Meloche):

  • Sunday, July 24, from 1:30 to 2 p.m.: Le Tradorchestre

Parc Cloverdale (Rue Basswood):

7. Pointe-Claire

La Sinfonia de l’Ouest is hosting a concert on Wednesday, August 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Parc Stewart, Pointe-Claire. Classical music by Vivaldi, Mozart, Turina, Greig, and Claude Champagne will be recited. The performance will be moved indoors to the Stewart Hall Cultural Center in case of rain.


8. Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Between June 25 and September 10th, the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue presents free live music performances every Saturday at Parc Lalonde from 5 to 8 p.m. The artists and bands scheduled to perform include:

9. Senneville

The Orchestre à vent du Suroît, composed of 40 professional, semi-professional, and advanced amateur musicians is offering a free outdoor concert in Senneville Park (20, Morningside Avenue) on Friday, July 22nd, from 7 PM to 8 PM.

The summer concert with the theme of “the joy of music” consists of a selection of pieces for wind ensembles.
