If there's one thing to be grateful for this winter, it's the never-ending supply of fun outdoor activities on the West Island.

With tobogganing, snowshoeing, and free skate on the rise, you may be wondering where to get your blades sharpened.

Below is a list of sharpening services in the area.

Monkey Sports | Dollard Des Ormeaux

Located at 61 Brunswick-H, Monkey Sports is open on Monday to Wednesday from 11 am to 6 pm, Thursday to Friday from 11 am to 7 pm, and on weekends from 10 am to 5 pm for all your sharpening needs.

Play It Again Sports | Kirkland

Play It Again Sports isn't just a place where you can give new life to previously loved sports equipment, you can also get your skates sharpened! For just 6$ a sharpening, Play It Again Sports sharpens hockey skates, goalie skates, recreational skates, and figure skates.

Sports Rousseau | Pointe-Claire

Get your skates sharpened Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. Sports Rousseau is open on Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm but closed on Sundays.

Seymour's Skate Lab | Pierrefonds

If there's a sharpening service I can personally attest to, it's this. I figure skated competitively for many years, and Seymour's was always the place to go. Open Tuesday through Saturday, Seymour's Skate Lab ensures a quality sharpening.

Seemingly now more than ever before, it's vital to make sure you're getting outside, getting fresh air, and getting a healthy dose of Vitamin D. Be sure to check out what's going on outdoor's near you, and take care of yourself during these exhausting and uncertain times.
