West Island's famous Blues Festival is back for another season and we couldn't be more excited!

If the province continues on its trajectory toward restriction-free life, this year's festival season has a good chance of feeling (almost) normal.

Of course, the state of the COVID-19 pandemic in Quebec is always evolving, but you reader can rest assured that the team at West Island News will keep you up to date when it comes to rules, regulations, government guidelines, and mandates.

Mask or no mask though, it's safe to say spirits will be high and that the festival will come as a welcomed reprieve from typical Covid life.

Here's what we know about the festival so far.

3 events have been announced so far.

May 26th at 7 pm

A VIP indoor show will be hosted in Pierrefonds-Roxboro at 7 pm. There are a limited number of tickets so be sure to inquire and purchase well in advance.

July 9th from 3 pm to 11 pm

The outdoor festival in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux will take place.

September 10th from 5 pm to 11 pm

The outdoor festival in the Pointe-Claire Village will take place.

In an Instagram post, Mayor of the Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough Dimitrios (Jim) Beis reassured citizens that more information on the festival is imminent.

"Time to come out of the pandemic blues and get into the West Island Blues Festival", said Beis.
