Quebec to Vaccinate 500,000 with Corporate Pole Initiative

The Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé, announces that several business COVID-19 vaccination centers will open in the coming weeks, in addition to those that have already started their activities.


For the first time, in Quebec, companies are called upon to contribute to mass vaccination to fight COVID-19. The goal is to vaccinate at least 500,000 Quebecers in these corporate vaccination poles.

The population will have access to these poles according to the groups eligible to be vaccinated. An individual can make an appointment by consulting the Québec.ca/vaccinCOVID page.

Highlights:


It should be remembered that between 15,000 and 25,000 people are expected to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in each of the poles, from May to August.


In total, more than 450 companies have responded to the appeal launched by the Minister, either to participate in the establishment of a vaccination center or to offer related services.
