NOVA West Island is expanding its network of community thrift shops with the opening of its sixth location, set to launch this spring in Dorval.
The new thrift shop will be located at 625 Lakeshore Drive, in the former Desjardins building, and will play a key role in helping fund NOVA’s compassionate health care services for individuals and families across the West Island.
This latest expansion strengthens NOVA West Island’s mission to provide essential community-based health care while giving residents another opportunity to support the cause through sustainable, second-hand shopping.
As preparations get underway, NOVA is actively seeking volunteers to help set up and support the new store ahead of its opening. Volunteer opportunities are available now, and applications can be completed online or at any existing NOVA thrift shop location.
Community members interested in getting involved or learning more about the new Dorval store are encouraged to visit the NOVA West Island Facebook page, where volunteer forms and additional details are available.
The Dorval location marks another milestone for NOVA West Island as it continues to grow its impact and support vital health care services within the community.
