How children from ages 5-11 can get their COVID vaccine


The CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal is continuing its efforts by offering vaccination against COVID-19 to children aged 5 to 11.

Various modalities are available for the vaccination of children. As of January 19, 2022, it is possible to make an appointment at our population-based vaccination sites adapted for the occasion. In addition, as of January 26, 2022, it will be offered in our schools. Please note that the child must be 5 years of age or older at the time of vaccination.

Here's how to do it:

OPTION 1: POPULAR VACCINATION SITES (as of January 19, 2022)

Child-only time slots at our vaccination sites are now available (appointment required).

Special attention to make sure kids have a good time is provided at the population-based vaccination sites, including pet therapy, motivational support, a comic book and colouring books.

OPTION 2: SCHOOL VACCINATION (as of January 26, 2022)

Please note that several booking options are available for vaccination in schools in the West Island territory depending on the school service center your child attends.
