House Fire in Pierrefonds
A house in the Pierrefonds area of Montréal was engulfed in flames overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.
The Montréal Fire Department (SIM) was alerted by 911 calls regarding the onset of a fire in a single-story residence on Lefebvre Street, near Théorêt Street.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene as a woman inside the house was affected by smoke inhalation. The fire started around 3:45 a.m.
According to a SIM spokesperson, about thirty firefighters were deployed to battle the blaze and prevent the flames from spreading to neighboring homes.
At this time, it is too early to determine the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage to the residential building, the spokesperson added.

Tried out Nano Banana 2 for generating images from text descriptions. The updated version feels more responsive and the output quality has improved noticeably. Works well across different styles from photorealistic to illustrated.
Been using Nano Banana Pro for AI image generation recently. The Pro version handles more complex prompts and delivers sharper results — still powered by Gemini under the hood. Great for concept art and style experiments without any local setup.
Been trying out Nano Banana for AI image generation lately. You just describe what you want in plain text and it generates something — built on Gemini so the quality is decent. Handles a range of styles from realistic to anime. Useful for quick concept visuals without needing to set up anything locally.
