The Réseau express métropolitain (REM) is inviting everyone to explore its brand-new Deux-Montagnes branch — for free — this weekend, November 15 and 16, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.!

Take a ride between Deux-Montagnes and Central Station at no cost and experience all 14 new stations before official service begins on Monday, November 17. Expect a festive atmosphere and family-friendly surprises throughout the weekend. 🎈

👉 Note: Due to high expected ridership, bikes and pets won’t be allowed during the event.

🚇 Travel time for a full round trip between McGill and Deux-Montagnes: about 2.5 hours.

⚠️ Plan ahead — a STM strike may cause bus and metro disruptions in Montreal on those days.

This is such a cool opportunity! Riding the new REM for free sounds like the perfect way to explore all 14 stations before service officially starts.
