Food recall notice Salami Mondial - Laval

Attention: Food Recall Notice

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with Aliment Stabile, operating within Salami Mondial's premises at 3405 Boulevard de la Concorde, Laval, advises against consuming the products listed below due to potential Staphylococcus aureus contamination. These products were sold in various establishments in Montreal, Laval, and Lanaudière. The salami was vacuum-sealed in transparent plastic packaging, sold refrigerated.

The operator is recalling the affected products as a precautionary measure. If you have any of these products, do not consume them. Return them to the place of purchase or dispose of them. Even if the products appear normal, consumption may pose health risks.

Staphylococcal food poisoning symptoms include sudden onset nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, and diarrhea, typically appearing 30 minutes to 8 hours after consuming contaminated food and subsiding within 24 hours.

Note: No illness associated with these products has been reported to MAPAQ thus far.
