Next weekend there will be two family days in Pointe-Claire, with lots of free activities, celebrating Public Works Day and Stewart Hall's Cultural Rendez-Vous.

Activities in honour of Public Works Day will be held on Saturday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 50 Terra-Cotta Avenue. The day serves as a way for families to learn more about public works machinery and various trades. Here's what's on the program:
Presentation of vehicles
Arboriculture kiosk
Tree planting workshop
Scavenger hunt - Collect all the pins
Craft workshop
Inflatable games
Face painting
Free play area

Stewart Park's annual Cultural Rendez-Vous event is for kids and adults to celebrate the relationship between the arts and nature. On May 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be:
exhibitions,
art workshops,
skills demonstrations,
a café-terrace,
a circus,
face painting,
music and street performances,
storytelling, and family shows, all near the picturesque waterfront Stewart Hall.
