This year, some West Island families are finding it difficult to acquire warm winter clothes for their children. Community Shares is organizing fundraisers and in-kind donations in partnership with BMO Bank of Montreal West Island branches in order to give new snowsuits, caps, neck warmers, and warm mittens to children who are in need.
MAKE AN IN-KIND DONATION
By dropping off NEW hats, mittens, and neck warmers in the designated collection boxes located in any of the nine participating BMO Bank of Montreal West Island branches*. Donation drop-offs run until the end of November.

West Island Community Shares raises funds for more than 40 local community groups that support the changing needs of West Islanders, such as the West Island Mission, Perspective Communautaire en Santé Mentale, Ricochet Housing, Friends for Mental Health, the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre and the West Island Black Community Association.
