The City of Dorval wishes to inform its citizens that, as of September 1, the COVID-19 vaccination passport (VaxiCode) will be introduced for people aged 13 and over wishing to take part in all sports, recreational, and cultural activities, events, and courses offered in the City’s municipal buildings. A grace period will apply from September 1 to September 15, when the passport will be in use but no penalties will be imposed.

The vaccination passport will also be introduced for all parents or legal guardians accompanying a child to an activity, as well as for people attending an indoor gathering within the City’s halls or spaces that have been rented out.

However, the passport will not be required to access the municipal buildings’ reception desks or to visit the Dorval Museum, the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre, or the Dorval Library (except if it’s to take part in a directed group activity organized in these venues).

The passport can be shown in one of three ways:

· On paper

· In a PDF on a mobile device

· Via the VaxiCode application

Whichever method is chosen, a photo ID will need to be shown as well (driving licence, citizen card, student card, etc.).
