Premier, François Legault held a press conference today, January 20th 2022 at 2 pm.
During the conference, Legault mentioned that we can see the end of the tunnel but to not get too excited because hospitals have reached the peak with 3400 hospitalizations.
He warns that other restrictions will not be lifted just yet and that Quebecers should continue following health regulations to not make the situation worse.
Legault also apologized for the terrible situation that happened at the CHSLDs in the spring of 2020 and takes part of the blame. He says that there is a plan in the works to correct the situation in the healthcare network.
