Beaconsfield's Brittany Kennell releases single and hits the stage at Lasso Montréal!

Since the release of her debut album in September 2021, Brittany Kennell of Beaconsfield has performed on the illustrious stages of Nashville's Bluebird Café and Grand Ole Opry, the set of NBC's The Voice, and this year, she graced the stage during Montreal's country music festival, Lasso. The celebrations for Montreal's largest country music weekend began on August 17 at MTelus with a performance by Kennell, this year's spokesperson for the Lasso Festival, James Barker Band, and Griffen Palmer.

The timing of her performance coincides perfectly with the release of the third track from Pink Collar, her upcoming sophomore album. Wait On You was released on August 17 at midnight, in which Kennell stands firmly in favor of not waiting around for someone else to make your dreams or relationship work for you.

"Sitting around for somebody to text you back or take you on a date is no way to spend your time. I really wanted to share the message that your time and energy is so valuable. So, instead of spending it waiting around and worrying, get out there and go do something positive," is what Kennell had to share about her new single. Wait on You is available across all digital streaming platforms.

She has received her first Country Gala nomination for English Album of the Year, which comes after she was discovered all over Quebec while opening for Matt Lang. Brittany played her first Calgary Stampede and warmed up the stage of her first idol Shania Twain at the well-known Boots & Hearts festival in August, in addition to taking part in both Lasso Montreals and is returning to Festival Western de St-Tite for a second consecutive year.
