Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de l'Ouest-de-l'Île is excited to announce our upcoming move to a brand new office and location at 52 Boul. Hymus in Pointe-Claire!
For over 20 years, Carrefour jeunesse-emploi has been an involved member and actively supported young adults, aged 16 to 35, in their job search, return to school, and social re-integration by offering them free, bilingual services and programs.
Our new premises have been custom-designed in an effort to create a more energetic environment that is well suited to the needs of our clients. This includes conference rooms, shared workspaces, a communal kitchen, as well as several private consultation offices.
We firmly believe this move will have a huge, positive impact on our clients in a new space specifically created with their needs in mind. As always, the CJE strictly adheres to all health and safety measures against COVID-19 put in place by public health. As well, our organization considered it important to remain in the borough of Pointe-Claire, in the heart of the West Island, to ensure easy accessibility for all our young adults.
With this in mind, our new location will be centrally situated at the junction of several public transit routes including two major STM lines (209, 72) as well as the future REM station near the corner of Sources and Hymus Boulevard.
Ultimately, we feel this shift will help us better serve our youth clientele, local partners, and the community at large. This coincides with the official return to our mission to support young adults across our territory in their socio-professional integration process, regardless of their status.
Of course, we will also be continuing to maintain our core services which are well-established within the organization. Stay tuned for other announcements via our social media or website for information about some upcoming events over the next few weeks such as our open house, re-opening, fall job fair, and much more!
It should be noted that the CJE will remain open remotely during the move and offer services by telephone for a short period, from September 24th to October 1st, to allow us time to settle in our future office.
