In a recent incident on Wednesday morning in Pointe-Claire, a 72-year-old pedestrian endured severe injuries following a collision with a motorist. The accident unfolded shortly before 10 a.m. at the intersection of Chemin Saint-Jean and Avenue Labrosse.
Authorities reported that the collision transpired as the driver was executing a turn from Labrosse Avenue onto Saint-Jean. The pedestrian sustained grave injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, it was confirmed by authorities later in the morning that the pedestrian's life was not at risk. The driver, aged 78, emerged unscathed from the incident. He remained at the accident scene and was scheduled to meet with investigators to provide his account of the events.
