The theme of this year’s Volunteer Week is The Value of One, The Power of Many, reflects the awe-inspiring acts of kindness by individuals who volunteer. This is especially true during the pandemic as volunteers come together to make a difference. Volunteer West Island recognizes the value of the caring and compassion that each volunteer has shown, and the power of people, organizations, and sectors working together. Volunteerism strengthens the fabric of our community.
