🇨🇦 SAQ to Put Some American Products Back on Sale — Proceeds to Support Food Banks
Starting February 12, the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) will put certain American products back on sale, specifically items that are nearing their expiration date.
👉 The estimated $9 million in proceeds from these sales will be donated to Food Banks of Quebec.
Important to note:
This is not a return to importing U.S. products — it’s strictly a liquidation of
existing stock.
The products were previously removed from stores in March 2025 during the tariff dispute.
The measure is described as exceptional and non-political, according to Finance Minister Eric Girard.
🛒 Where can you buy them?
Online at SAQ.com
SAQ Dépôt locations only
🍶 Products include mainly:
Clear glass bottles
Cream-based liqueurs
Sake
💸 Discounts offered:
15% off all eligible American products
Plus the usual SAQ Dépôt volume discounts:
5% off when buying 6–11 bottles
10% off when buying 12 bottles or more
The ban on importing new American alcohol products remains in effect.
🧡 Food Banks of Quebec welcomed the announcement, calling it a much-needed boost as demand continues to rise.

A clear resource about router access can be useful when dealing with network configuration questions. Users can learn how to reach settings and better understand wireless options or connectivity concerns. For anyone researching 10.0 0.1, practical explanations can make routine router management more convenient.
Shopping online from large retailers feels routine until an order doesn’t arrive as expected or something is missing. A coworker once had that situation and quickly realized that getting clear help isn’t always immediate. In the middle of trying to sort things out, they checked walmart phone number and said it gave them a better idea of how others approached similar order-related concerns.
