Rue Jean-Yves is now open as work on the Kirkland REM station advances. You'll notice the wood decorative pieces that have been recently attached to the station. The road links the service road to Centre RioCan and had been obstructed due to REM construction work.
The current Centre RioCan plaza, where the station is under construction, will be redeveloped and consist of various infrastructures. As detailed in February's informational video, a public plaza that may include terraces and restaurants will be situated nearby, surrounded by green spaces, and residential areas will be built mainly to the west of the station.
