Shots rang out again in Montreal on Saturday afternoon, this time in a residential area of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, targeting a semi-detached house, according to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
Citizens contacted emergency services around 2:55 p.m., citing gunshots at the corner of Brahms and Mozart streets in the West Island. At the scene, the police observed the impact of a firearm projectile on a semi-detached residence. Casings were also found on the ground.
Witnesses said a suspect targeted the house before fleeing in a vehicle.
No reported injuries were reported in the residential area in connection with this shooting incident. No suspect was apprehended at the time of publication, according to Véronique Dubuc, media relations officer for the SPVM.
