Baie-D'Urfé is seeks resident volunteers to join its Town Planning Advisory Committee

The Town of Baie-D'Urfé is seeking resident volunteers to join its Town Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC).

The TPAC comprises 7 members, including 5 residents and 2 elected officials, who are responsible for conducting studies and formulating recommendations on urban planning, zoning, and subdivision. The committee plays a crucial role in guiding the town's development, ensuring that it aligns with community needs and environmental sustainability. TPAC members are appointed for a two-year term, with the option for renewal based on the council's decision. To apply, you must be a resident of the town and available during the working hours of town employees from Monday to Friday.

Fluency in both French and English is an asset to cater to the diverse community. A keen interest or expertise in urban planning, environmental science, architecture, construction, law, design, landscaping, or heritage is also desirable.

To submit your application, send your name, contact information, reasons for your interest, relevant experience in land use planning, and availability via email to info-urb@baie-durfe.qc.ca or by mail to the Urban Planning Department at 300 Surrey Street, Baie-d'Urfé, QC H9X 2E7.
