🚨 Arson Investigation in Pierrefonds-Roxboro 🚨

Montreal police are investigating a suspected arson after a vehicle was set on fire overnight in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough, in the city’s West Island.
The incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday night. Emergency services were called to a residential parking lot on Pierrefonds Boulevard, near Louis-Fréchette Street, where a car was engulfed in flames.
Montreal firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control and discovered incendiary materials at the scene, suggesting the fire was intentionally set.
The car sustained major damage, and a nearby vehicle was also affected by the fire, according to SPVM spokesperson Johany Charland. Witnesses reported seeing a suspect set the fire before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Thankfully, no one was injured. No arrests have been made so far.
The investigation has now been handed over to the SPVM’s arson squad. The vehicle was towed for further examination.
