Nearly 700 participants gathered in Valois Park on Saturday, September 23rd, to run or walk in memory of their lost loved ones and to show their support for the Residence. The dedicated teams, sponsors, and volunteers contributed to the event's enormous success and raised $291,725 for the @teresadellarpalliativecare Residence.

The Residence provides terminally ill patients with a place to spend their final days in comfort and dignity in a warm, home-like environment close to their family and community. The free-standing Residence, the first of its kind in Montreal, provides compassionate care – free of charge – allowing patients to live their final days in comfort and dignity.
Since opening its doors in 2002, they have welcomed over 5,300 patients and more than 20,000 loved ones. The Residence celebrated 20 years last September and re-opened its new facility that accommodates 23 beds.
