After a lengthy and secretive investigation, the West Island News has discovered that there is much more beyond the classic cheeseburger or the Big Mac on the McDonald's menu.

Who knew that we were all missing out on so much when ordering from the "normal" menu at McDonald's. Menu items like the "Big McChicken" and "The McGangBang" have been living under the radar for years at the world-famous restaurant. It is now time to discover them!

Following my discoveries, I called up some local McDonald's managers on Montreal's West Island to confirm my findings. They were able to confirm that most secret menu items listed below, are available at their restaurants. However, they may not be available if the chef is unaware or during peak hours. They also informed me that the secret menu items were all created by customers.

The Land, Sea, and Air Burger

Ann Marie Langrehr/Eat This, Not That!

This burger is a combination of 3 different types of meat put together in a sandwich. Beef from the land, fish from the sea, and chicken from the air.

Big Mac Sauce Fries

This one is fairly simple to order but will completely elevate the taste of your french fries. Order the famous golden french fries with a side of Big Mac sauce. Enjoy!

Big McChicken

Ann Marie Langrehr/Eat This, Not That!

This burger replaces the buns of the Big Mac with 3 McChicken patties.

McBrunch Burger

Ann Marie Langrehr/Eat This, Not That!

This transforms the traditional cheeseburger into a perfect brunch meal. Order a cheeseburger with an egg and hashbrown to go with it.

Mc Ice Cream Sandwich

Of course, the secret menu also includes dessert! Order an Oreo McFlurry and 2 chocolate chip cookies.

The idea of a hidden menu at McDonald's always gets people curious, especially since a lot of these “secret” items are just creative customizations you can order if you know what to ask for. It makes the whole experience feel a bit more personalized rather than just picking from the standard board. Anyone interested in trying these combinations should take a moment to read the full menu guide first, because knowing the base items and how they can be mixed is what really unlocks those off-menu options without any confusion at the counter.

Hidden or lesser-known menu options always add an extra layer of excitement to dining, making people curious about what’s beyond the standard offerings. Exploring something like the rib crib bbq menu list shows how detailed and varied selections can give customers a similar sense of discovery, even without a “secret” label. Unique combinations and regional specialties often create that same appeal, encouraging people to try new flavors and customize their experience.

Yeah I’ve heard about that, and it’s interesting how many people don’t realize there are unofficial items you can still order if you know what to ask for. The tricky part is that these aren’t always listed clearly, so I usually check a proper menu guide or info page where such variations are explained along with standard items. Makes it easier to decide what to try without guessing

Interesting to learn about hidden items at McDonald's. Many people don’t realize that fans have created unofficial combinations like the Big McChicken over the years. I often like checking different restaurant menu breakdowns and item variations too, especially when comparing what popular chains offer beyond their standard menu.
