The Pointe-Claire Aquatic Club and the City of Pointe-Claire are seeking volunteer candidates to be members of certain sub-committees of the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Club Board of Directors. They would be participating and contributing to the city's aquatic club, a recognized non-profit paramunicipal organization.
The Pointe-Claire Aquatic Club is recognized in Quebec and Canada for its innovation, leadership, and performance, positioning itself because of the quality of its coaching and guidance.
The general mandate of the club is as follows:
To encourage and promote competitive swimming and diving activities among residents of Pointe-Claire and the West Island in general.

Without limiting the general nature of the preceding paragraph, the club will fulfill the following roles:
Provide expertise and recommendations on specific issues arising from the exercise of its general mandate;
Provide governance and policy oversight within the scope of its Rules and Bylaws and its agreement with the City of Pointe-Claire;
Promote a healthy culture of swimming and diving in a safe environment for young citizens and the City of Pointe-Claire community.
They are searching for people who would like to bring their experience and expertise to the following committees:
Competitions
Grants
Communications
Governance
Fundraising
Candidates with the following experience and availability are encouraged to apply:
Have relevant experience in the field of sports or sport management, either volunteering or professional
Have experience with finance, accounting, business, or marketing
Have experience in educational, medical, or paramedical fields
Have experience in legal, communications, or technical professions
Have other relevant experience to bring to the table
Be able to work as part of a team
Be available to be actively involved in Club activities
Being a resident of Pointe-Claire will be considered an asset.
