In response to the current state regarding COVID-19 and to provide tax relief during these hard times, the City of Dorval has decided to put forth a measure allowing Dorval property owners and businesses to benefit from an additional delay to pay their 2021 taxes.
More specifically, this year’s new tax payment deadlines are:
First instalment: June 1 (instead of March 1)
Second instalment: September 1 (instead of June 1)
Third instalment: November 1 (instead of September 1)
Payment procedure Here is a reminder on ways to pay your tax bill:
On your financial institution’s website (preferred option)
By mail (please attach the payment stub)
In person, at City Hall (60, Martin Avenue, Dorval, Quebec, H9S 3R4), by check, debit card, or cash (exact amount)
If you have a mortgage, please be sure to verify, before submitting a tax payment to the City, that your mortgage creditor has not already paid your taxes on your behalf.
