A secondary 5 student helps raise money for the West Island Women's Shelter!

Alongside her mentor Cassandra, Nora set up at two Tim Horton's locations on St. Jeans and Hymus. Some student volunteers stood outside in the drive-through asking for donations while others stood at the entrances greeting customers and asking the same.

Really heartwarming story and the fact that Nora chose a women's shelter for her graduating project says a lot about her character and priorities at an age when most students are focused purely on their own next steps. Standing outside in a Tim Hortons drive-through in late November in Montreal takes genuine dedication and physical commitment that goes well beyond what most graduating projects require.
