The MTMD (Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable) announced Friday, November 24th that the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge will be closed completely this weekend, from Friday November 24th at midnight, until Monday November 27th at 5 a.m.

Following the appearance of a new crack on a beam of the structure heading towards Montreal, the bridge will be closed entirely during the aforementioned period to set up a new lane configuration. It was also announced today that as of Monday, November 27, an additional lane on the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge will be closed indefinitely.

Exceptionally, tolls on A-30 will be lifted for the entire weekend. As of November 27, dynamic traffic management will be in place according to the following schedule:
2 lanes Montreal-bound: between midnight and 9:30 a.m;
2 lanes towards Vaudreuil-Dorion: between 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between 10 p.m. and midnight, only one lane per direction will be available for configuration changes.
